Thank you for considering Creative Dreams Outreach Center as part of your charitable donation in 2022.
Our mission is to accept and challenge financially disadvantaged and foster youth 11-18 years old to recognize and reach their full God-given potential. Helping these students mature into well-rounded adults benefits us all.
Though we have focused on providing opportunities for the students to be exposed to and participate in the arts, we would also like to expand our programming to offer additional ways to support their growth. We would like to offer one-on-one mentoring, scholastic counseling, exploitation awareness in concert with self-protection, and practical financial awareness like budgeting.
We have also discovered that there is ample opportunity to further assist our students as they approach graduation from high school and beyond. With your financial support, we would like to expand our programming to offer support with providing resources and tangible assistance with education, housing, trade and career guidance, and classes that will help in preparing them for adulthood. These are needed by all of our students, but particularly for foster children aging out of foster care.
In order to facilitate these programs, we will need additional resources such as technology, building out classrooms and quiet spaces, and additional staffing not to mention still supporting our current programming.
In the next few weeks, we will be introducing you to a few of our success stories, students who have attended Creative Dreams and are contributing to their families and even volunteering at the center when their schedules allow.
